When:
Application release on January 30, 2023 and due Friday, March 3, 2023.
Who:
Every year San Joaquin County awards one-time funding to Non-County/Non-Profit Organizations during the budget process. Eligible organizations are those with a nonprofit designation.
Why:
Funding is intended to enhance the organizations’ services or further assist the completion of special projects/initiatives within their communities. It is not to support the organization’s operating expenses, but rather designed to be additional by nature, allowing the organization to expand services to the San Joaquin County community while focusing on one or more of the Board of Supervisors’ Strategic Priorities (Organizational Capacity/ Technology Utilization; Fiscal Optimization; Public Safety/Criminal Justice/Quality of Life; Homelessness; Water Management; and Economic Development). Award amounts will vary depending on the request and the state of the County’s Budget.
